Don't you love getting cards in the mail? I received a beautiful Valentine's Day card in the mail from my mom last week.

I just love this card and it's such a great mix of Stampin' Up! goodness! I love the way she put the Red Glimmer Paper behind the Designer Cut Card. Thanks Mom! :)

Valentine's Printable Home Decor

Hi! I made this cute Valentine's Home Decor project a couple of weeks ago and am finally getting around to showing it!!

This was super easy and super cheap!! All you need is our $1.95 Be Mine Digital Download and an inexpensive frame! I used My Digital Software (which you can get a 30-day FREE trial of here) -- but our downloads can be used in other programs as well.

I used My Digital Studio to change the gray to black and make the pink a little brighter. I'm really happy with how it turned out. And, if you use My Digital Studio, this $1.95 download gives you a 8.5 x 11 framable download PLUS each word/image can be used as an individual stamp! That's 33 stamp brush images that you can use in whatever project you're creating - and you can change the size and color as you wish!

A quicker way to get those photos off of your computer and into your scrapbook album or photo books! If you're like me, you have hundreds of photos on your computer... waiting to be printed!
As mentioned above, you can bring your photos directly into MDS at whatever size you want. You can crop them, you can have them cover the entire page, you can journal right on them, you can tilt them, etc., etc., and they still look fabulous!!
You can still have your favorite Stampin' Up! paper, punches, colors and stamps in My Digital Studio. This is great for you hybrid creators out there. (Combining traditional and digital designs). For example, with the above layout I know that after I have it printed, I can add some Pool Party ribbon and Early Expresso buttons and they will coordinate perfectly!! This is also great for tags and cards where you want to add some extra embellishments.
Easy to duplicate! If I've created a scrapbook page that I love, I can print two copies or use the exact layout in a photo book for a gift. Also, if I want to create a two-page layout of the above design, I can duplicate the page with a click of my mouse. Then, all I need to do is change the photo and journaling. It's super quick and super easy! (I promise!)
Easy to journal. For whatever reason.... I am so much better about journaling when I scrap digitally, then when I scrap traditionally. I don't know why, but it's true! Those of you that scrapbook know how important journaling is to tell the story of your photos!

Masculine Scrapbook Layout

Hi! I am thoroughly enjoying my 3-day weekend - how about you?! I have so much to do to get ready for my trip to San Antonio next week for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference - soooo excited! But, I did a quick digi-layout this morning that I wanted to share with you. My Digital Studio is REALLY helping me get caught up on my scrapping. :)

This layout is of my hubby and sweet boys on Father's Day. We bought him a really cool portable grill that we can take to the pool and tailgating. It was designed by Paul Jr. from that motorcycle show he loves - so he was pretty excited about it! :)

Most of this layout uses the Number One download. It has a great masculine feel to it! The little journaling block is from there as well. If you don't have the digi-bug yet, this layout would be easy to duplicate using traditional scrapbooking. I never know ahead of time which photos to print bigger - so I love being able to make my photos whatever size I want in My Digital Studio! So easy!!

Hi! I just returned from a fun girls' weekend where I got lots of scrapbooking done and cards made! Of course, there was also tons of laughing, sharing, eating and talking! :) I did mostly digital scrapbooking this time using My Digital Studio. It was so much easier not to pack so much stuff! All I really needed was my laptop! Here is one of the layouts I did:

This photo is from our first family ski trip! I'm glad I finally got this picture scrapbooked - it's the only photo I have of the four of us together! (Don't you hate that?!) I was inspired to scrap this photo when I saw the patterned paper in the FREE "Day in the Life" digital download. I've found that I love using sketches for my digital scrapbook layouts as well as my traditional scrapbooking! I used sketch #189 from the Creative Scrappers blog for this layout. Make sure and check out all of their wonderful sketches and layouts - lots of inspiration over there!

Fast Digital Scrapbook Layouts

I'm really having fun playing with Stampin' Up!'s Digital Software, My Digital Studio. I will always be a traditional scrapbooker, but boy is it quick and easy to make fabulous digi-layouts. Hopefully, this will help get some of these photos off of my computer and into my scrapbooks!!

I did a two-page scrapbook layout using the Downtown Grunge Photobook Template Digital Download. It was so easy - all I did was insert my photos and add some journaling! (Click on the photos for a larger view.)

When I purchased this download, I thought it would work great with a lot of the photos I have from my boys' sporting events. I tried it with photos from the Stampin' Up! Convention and I really like how it looks here - what a versatile digi download! And what I love about these templates is, you can mix it up, move things around, just use the elements or mix up the different paper backgrounds, etc., etc. So much fun!!

Hand Stamped Tile Coasters

Eeek - only a few days left of 2011?! How is that possible? I've gotten behind on my blogging/stamping but have really enjoyed the time with my family! I love this time of year and think I'll be lazy for the last few days of 2011! lol. I did want to share with you some photos from some of my December events.

There was a challenge over at Zibbet for handmade gift card holders so I decided to enter. I made a stocking gift card holder using the Holiday Stocking Bigz Die. Here it is:

Holly Berry Bouquet Gift Basket Tutorial

I love making these little gift baskets. They're great to hold treats, baked goods, gift cards, etc. for friends, neighbors and teachers. We made these at the Holiday Giftacular Class. What fun!

Products Used:
Paper: Chocolate Chip (12x12), Holly Berry Bouquet DSP, Very Vanilla, Pear Pizzazz
Stamps: Easy Events
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Real Red & Old Olive Markers
Punches: Circle, Scallop Circle
Other: Real Red Ribbon, Crop-a-dile

For the tag I used the stamp set Easy Events. This is such a versatile set and comes with 8 different stamps.

#123225 (clear mount) $24.95
#116958 (wood mount) $32.95

Wondering how to make these fun little baskets? Keep reading.... :)

Gift Basket Tutorial

Take a sheet of 12 x 12 card stock and score at 4" and 8". Turn 90 degrees and score again at 4" and 8". Fold at score lines.
Take 2 sheets of DSP and cut into 3.75 x 3.75" squares.
Take 8 of the squares and cut them in half diagonally. You should end up with 16 triangles.
Glue all of the squares on both sides of the card stock to create the pattern you like on the basket.
Now the tricky part... Pinch the 2 middle squares together creating a doubled triangle with the corner piece. Use a bone folder to score and crease the corners at a diagonal. Do this for all 4 corners.
Use the crop-a-dile to punch small holes in all of the diagonal corners. You'll be punching through 2 layers of card stock at a time.
Thread the ribbon through the holes, pull it tightly together and make your bow. Add a cute tag if desired!

I hope that wasn't too confusing!! The hardest part is getting those corner folds - once you get that down it's easy!! Our new Simply Scored tool makes the scoring a breeze!! Happy crafting! I'd love to hear how yours turns out! :)

New Stamps 2 Go & Stamp Clubs Forming!!

I hope you're all enjoying your Saturday! We are officially on Christmas break over here - which means no alarm clocks for 15 days! Woooo hooooo!!

So... I've listened to your requests and I'm so excited to share with you two new "clubs" I'll have available for 2012!

The first is Stamp Club. This Club is for those of you that are local and want to meet every other month (in my house or yours if you want to form your own club) to make fun projects - cards, gift items, tags, 3d projects, etc.. You'll commit to placing a $25 order every other month to slowly build your stamping supplies, meet with other crafters to create fun projects, earn FREE products during your "hostess" month, and enjoy other little perks along the way. The second is the Stamps 2 Go Club. Holiday Photo Block Decoration

Oooooh, I'm so excited about this project! I covered one of our Decor Blocks in Designer Series Paper. I stamped and punched out an ornament and used the Big Shot to cut out the letters. I adhered a cute picture of my boys on one side and topped it off with some of our 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. What a fun, handmade gift!

Cute Hand Sanitizer Gift

I love to make little gifts for my hostesses. :) Last week, I decided to make this fun hand sanitizer holder to bring to my hostess's workshop. (I really need a cuter name... but, it's not really a box, or a pouch, or a bag.... lol) Anyway, here it is:

I originally got this idea from Erica Cerwin over at Pink Buckaroo Designs, but revamped mine a little bit to open and close on the top. It's a fun little gift for hostesses, neighbors, teachers, the mailman, etc.! The mini pocket hand sanitizers from one of my favorite stores fits inside perfectly - and who doesn't need hand sanitizer?! We'll be making a Christmas version of this at the Holiday Giftacular! I'll try and post a tutorial next week!

Santa Matchbox Treat

Woo hoo - we're getting into the holiday spirit over here! My kids have the week off of school next week for Thanksgiving! (Which means no alarm clocks for NINE days!) So excited! I'm hoping to start decorating and shopping for Christmas soon! :)

With Christmas being right around the corner, we've been working like crazy planning the most popular class of the year! We're calling this year's gift class the Holiday Giftacular! I wanted to make a cute, inexpensive treat as one of our projects. I came up with this little punch-art Santa Matchbox Treat:

Home for the Holidays Christmas Card

Ok, so I'm still playing with My Digital Studio and celebrating Digital Scrapbooking Day with Stampin' Up!'s FREE downloads!! Today I used the Home for the Holidays Ensemble to create a Christmas Card:

A couple of these pictures are from last year and will need to be updated... but, I wanted to show how quick and easy it was to make a card using the FREE download! The template in the download is actually a thank you card. So, I changed the sentiment and wah-lah!

There are some really cute elements in this download. Lots of fun things that can be used for Christmas tags, labels, treat toppers, cards, and scrapbook layouts.

Football Scrapbook Layout

Happy Saturday! I've been having so much fun playing with My Digital Studio! Here's what I made last night:

This year was the first time my 9 yo played football. He loved it! I always take sooo many sports pictures that it's hard to scrap them all. I think My Digital Studio is the answer to my problem! Now, I just need to decide if I want to print as individual pages or do separate photo books for the boys' sports... Decisions, decisions.....

I used one of the FREE downloads to do the above layouts. It was super easy - I just used the template and changed my text and title. This download is called Neutral Delightful Digital Tape.

Another Scrapbook Layout + Free Digital Downloads!!

As demonstrators, we were able to get the downloads a little early. As soon as I saw the Delight in the Day download, I knew I wanted to use it to scrapbook our "first day of school" photos. The download shows an 8 1/2 x 11 template, but I took the different elements and made a 12 x 12 page. It was so quick and easy! I love how you can make the different stamps and fonts any color!

I based my layout loosely on this week's sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays. Those of you that have scrapbooked with me before know that I am a HUGE fan of sketches. It is the best way for me to scrapbook and make cards. If you haven't tried it, you must! You will not be sorry!!

Hi! Just a quick post to share with you a cute little gift card holder made using the Petite Pocket Die for the Big Shot.

And here's how it opens up to reveal the gift card (not included... tee hee):

These are so quick and easy to create! The Big Shot does all of the work - it even cuts out the little circles to wrap the twine around! I also used the Peekaboo Frames for the front. Sweet Scrappin' Sunday....

So, one of my boys is off with some friends and my other boy is with my hubby at baseball practice so I have a Sunday afternoon to myself. Guess what I did?! I played!! I used Stampin' Up!'s digital software, My Digital Studio, to make a quick layout of a picture I took this morning. Believe it or not, this is the FIRST scrapbook layout I have made using this awesome program! (I'm saying this not because I think I'm a pro but because I've had this program forever....!) It was so easy!! Obviously, nothing fancy.... but I'm happy with it and it didn't take long at all! Here it is:

3-Day Cards - Stampin' Up! Style

Last weekend was the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk in Atlanta. I had six friends who were walking this year and I wanted to send them each a card. When you're a participant, you can receive mail while you're at camp. I remember getting cards last year from friends and family and it really meant a lot to me. I wanted to let my friends know that I was thinking of them while they were on their 3-Day journey. Here are a few of the cards I made:

I was so excited when I noticed that our Friendly Phrases Stamp Set had the sentiment "Here's to You." That's the team name of the group of girls I walked with last year. I knew I wanted to use this stamp set to make a card this year for the "Here's to You" team! The 3-Day walk was an amazing experience for me last year - one I'll never forget!! I'm so proud of everyone that walked last weekend and especially my friends that do this year-after-year! You are all incredible ladies!!

We had sooooo much fun at the Mom & Me Spooktacular last weekend! After the girls "decorated" their name tags, we created 4 fun projects. Here's what we made:

Beau Château Card Set

Happy Friday!! I'm not quite sure where my week has gone?! But, here I am. I want to share with you these cards and box using Stampin' Up!'s Beau Château Designer Series Paper. I love this paper.... it is just so pretty and feminine. And with two boys, I don't have a whole lot of feminine around this house! lol!

Wouldn't this sweet little box of cards make a great gift? I love the shabby chic, country feel of this paper!! This box was super easy to create as well. I can't take credit for the design.... this is one of the items we made at Gifts Galore. Mandy Grant planned all of the projects (in Spice Cake DSP) and I made them in this suite for display. I love the way everything turned out. I'll post more projects from Gifts Galore soon!

Halloween Banner

I LOVE October! The weather is just about right, football is in full swing, the leaves start changing, and it's a big birthday month for us! My son's birthday is actually on Halloween - so we have lots of fun decorating around here!

Last Friday I had a Halloween Stamp Camp. One of the projects that we made was a little 'Boo' Banner using the Big Shot and the new Pick Your Poison DSP (Designer Series Paper). At first, I really didn't care for this new Halloween line in the Holiday Mini, but the more I've used it, the more I LOVE it! Here is the banner that we made:

Spice Cake Sneak Peek

Hi! I just got home yesterday from a fabulous weekend at the Scrapbook Lodge. I just love my girls' weekends there! It is so relaxing, we laugh all weekend, eat too much and get lots of scrapping time! I brought some of my new goods from the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog! I LOVE the new Spice Cake DSP and fabric - it is so gorgeous!!! Here is a layout I created using some of the paper:

This is a picture of my little family from last Christmas. I just love it! (And printing it in black and white hid some of my wrinkles - lol!) I love how this layout turned out and might just have to incorporate this layout into an upcoming Scrapbook Class!

I just LOVE the new Stripes Embossing Folder! It's going to get lots of use around here! And isn't that ice cream cone cute?! I used the Petite Pennants Punch and the Cupcake Punch (and their coordinating stamps sets) to make the ice cream cone. We all decided it looked like mint chocolate chip ice cream! I'm in love with all of the new Designer Series Paper in the new Idea Book & Catalog!! No matter what your style is, there is something for everyone. I had so much fun drooling over all of the samples at Convention in the Product Park Display. Here are a few photos I snapped of the "Domestic Goddess" Suite. (#122355)

I wasn't a huge fan of this paper until I saw all of the cute things that you can do with it! It's now on my wish list!!

Another exciting moment of Convention was getting to walk across the stage. I was able to march twice - once for it being my 1st Convention and another time for building my team in 2011! Here's a picture of me and two of my fellow demonstrators making our way to the stage!

One of the highlights of my first Stampin' Up! Convention was the Riverton Campus Tour. The facilities were just gorgeous!

The displays were yummy!

The distribution center was massive - and so clean!

And we worked up our appetites! The Melting Pot was the perfect ending to our day!

I promise I'll post some of my own creations soon! I just have so many Convention photos to share!

Creative High

Wow! I am home from the Stampin' Up! Convention and I had such an amazing time! I am still on a "creative high" from all of the incredible product displays, presentations, samples, classes, demonstrations and FREEBIES that we received! My mind is racing with ideas and I have hundreds of photos to share with you!!

Here is a picture of me and some of my Stampin' friends on the first day of Convention. The theme this year was "grow." We had so much fun together!!

The product displays were over the top! They "grew" each day so you had to keep going back to see what they added. It was very fun. Here are a few pictures to give you an idea. This display is showcasing our new Designer Series Paper, Beau Chateau (#122357). (Which will be coming with my next order!!) It's beautiful - very shabby chic!

Here is a close up of the cute little rooster - who comes up with these things? Wouldn't you love to have that job? How fun!

Pillow Gifts

We had so much fun at the first Design Divas Retreat!! We had 14 overnight guests and 7 Saturday-only guests! We stamped, scrapped, created, and giggled into the wee hours of the night!! Thank you to everyone that came. Mandy and I can't wait to do it again!! We hope everyone had a relaxing weekend and felt like a queen! (Or at least a little bit pampered!!) For those of you that didn't get to make it, here's one of the gifts the girls found on their pillow Friday night:

Is this adorable or what? We wanted to give everyone some of our Brights Buttons. Mandy came up with this adorable way to give them!! :)

Hi! Well the time is finally here for the Design Divas Retreat! Mandy and I will be loading up tomorrow and heading to the North Georgia Mountains for a fun girls' getaway! I'll be teaching a card class while we're there using the Happy Greetings Stamp Set from the Summer Mini Catalog. Here's a sneak peek of one of the cards we'll be making:
