Nobody's Business Scraplift

Digital Scrapbooking Days continue with Stampin' Up!!  Have you been following along? So many daily deals, guest bloggers, amazing samples and challenges!!  Today's Daily Deal is the Nobody's Business Photobook Template.  At first glance, this download looked a little "bright" for my taste.  But, there are so many fun little elements inside that I love it!  Here is a layout I created using this download:

I had fun with this layout and was happy to finally scrap these cute photos.  I used the recoloring tool to change the color of the frames.  I added my journaling, a scallop border punch and some twine from the "Family Fun Photobook".  :)

This layout was inspired by the Monthly Scraplift Challenge over at SplitCoast Stampers.  I scraplifted this page from Lela and used the layout of it to create the one above.  Challenges are always a great way to get your creative juices flowing!!

So.... don't forget to check out the Nobody's Business Photobook Template.  It's available today only for 50% off!!

Thanks for visiting and don't forget that we have a few more daily deals coming up during Digital Scrapbooking Days!!

I can't tell you how many nice comments I've received about my Paper Organization Tabs I posted last year.  I've also received tons of emails and comments asking when I'll be adding the new colors - so you must actually be using them! ;)

I {finally} created the paper tabs for Stampin' Up!'s new In Colors and other new colors that were added this year.   You can download the pdf's from Google Docs by clicking the links below:

MDS Blog Hop Layout

Happy Thursday!  It's MDS Blog Hop day and I'm so excited!  We've kind of restructured the way we do our hop so now I don't get to see the other designer's projects ahead of time...  I can't wait to see what everyone created!!  This week we're showing our readers what we've been working on.  I actually  scrapped some pretty recent photos for a change!  Here's my layout:

These are my crazy boys that I spend my days and nights with!  I love to surround myself with people who make me laugh... and these three always do!

Products Used:
Software:  My Digital Studio
Downloads: Happy Life, Downtown Grunge, Alphabet Soup, Natural Composition Overlays, Delightful Digital Tape, Staples and Stitching, Rhinestone Jewels
Font:  You All Everybody

I love using the Digital Tape as little journaling spots.  I used the white tape but recolored it to basic gray.  I also love alphabet punches - so fun to fill them with DSP!!

Don't forget to follow along with our MDS Blog Hop to see what the other designers are creating.  Next up is Beth and I'm sure she created something fabulous!  Simply click the button below to follow along with us!

Have you seen this week's MDS Downloads?  They are awesome!  You can check them out in my online store here.

Also, don't forget to shop our current promotion - 25% off of 25 stamp sets!  Check out it HERE!

Thanks for visiting!!  Hope you have a wonderfully creative day!

Disney Layout for MDS Monday

Hi!  I was happy to find some creative time today!  I played along with the sketch challenge over at MDS Monday.  Here's the result:

We had a sketch to use and a challenge to use frames on our photos.  I really, really, really tried to use something other than the Downtown Grunge frames..... but, nothing else looked right!  They are my favorite frames and I use them all of the time!  I recolored them to coordinate with my layout.

Again... I'm going back in the photo archives and scrapbooking photos from a 2003 Disney trip!  This was the day we left to head to Orlando.  The boys were so excited and we were so happy with how good they were in the car for that long drive! :)

MDS Digi Downloads Used:
Back to School (Background Paper), The Best Year (sentiment), Downtown Grunge (frames), Midnight Cheer (Little star/firework looking images I cropped from a punch), Flag Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch, Circle Punches (to make the Mickey head).
Fonts:  Waltograph, Janda Safe and Sound

SEPTEMBER PROMOTION!!

Bundle and save on this butterfly stamp set and punch!!  This Butterfly Bundle includes the Papillon Potpourri Butterfly Stamp and Bitty Butterfly Punch.  Clear Mount Bundle (#135311 - $30.90) or Wood Mount Bundle (#135312 - $34.90).

NEW PRODUCT ALERT!!

Do you love to make cards but wish your envelopes coordinated?!  Do you like to make unique shaped cards but don't have an envelope to match?  Well.... Stampin' Up! has you covered!!

Introducing the Envelope Punch Board!!  I do not have this nifty tool yet but my mom does.  She just sent us the cutest anniversary card (18 years with hubby on Monday!) with a great envelope to match.  She likes to make big cards and she was able to make an adorable envelope with the Envelope Punch Board with coordinating DSP.  I love how the envelopes look using our double-sided DSP!!  Very fun and this is now on my wish list!!  (You can make 66 different envelope sizes?!)

You can see a quick video here on how it works!  Looks pretty easy to me!

You can shop for the Envelope Punch Board HERE in My Online Store!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you're having a creative week!! :)

I used a mix of downloads for this layout:
Back to School, Delightful Digital Tape, Natural Composition Overlays, Large Polka Dot DSP, This & That Epic Day, Nobody's Business, Timeless Type Alphabet, Game Day Football (I cropped the "1st" out of the 1st Down stamp).

Christmas in July!

The Creative Crew over at Splitcoast Stampers is celebrating Christmas in July!  Make sure and check it out and play along with our challenges this month!  Why not get a jump-start on your Christmas creations?!  :)

Here is one of the cards I created:

Products Used:
Stamps:  Seasonal Sayings
Ink:  VersaInk
Paper:  Eastern Elegance, Basic Gray, Whisper White
Other:  Epic Day Washi Tape, White Embossing Powder, Big Shot, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Rhinestone Jewels, Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack, Dimensionals

Here is the Creative Crew Challenge:
Catalog Focus:  Washi tape!  I love the new washi tape on page 171 of the new catalog. Make a holiday card or gift that shows off washi tape!

I've had the Epic Day This and That Washi Tape sitting on my desk.....  I don't think I really knew what to do with it!  So, this was a great challenge for me.  I combined it with the Eastern Elegance DSP which I LOVE!  I thought the gray pattern looked a little like snowflakes.  And I'm thrilled that Stampin' Up! brought back the Seasonal Sayings stamp set - love it!!  I also added some Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz which you can't really see in this photo - but it did add a fun shine to the card and especially the washi tape!

If you're in the mood for some fun crafting, check out the Creative Crew challenges over at SCS - it's a great way to get your creative juices flowing!!

Stampin' Up! is having some new promotions this month!  There is a great one on PAPER!!

Now's a great time to stock up on our fun new Designer Series Paper!!  Shop my online store here to choose your favorite DSP!!

Thanks for visiting!

Jolly Memories with MDS Monday

Well, it's a cold rainy day here in the South - isn't it supposed to be Spring?!  Oh well... makes it a perfect day to stay inside and scrapbook!  I found a fun sketch over at MDS Monday and thought I'd play along.  I have the cutest photos of our Elf on the Shelf from last Christmas and I definitely want the boys to remember these memories.  I did a 2-page layout:

The majority of this layout was made using the 12 Days til Christmas Swatchbook Template download.  I love that download - the papers and colors are so fun!  I also used the frames from the Downtown Grunge Photobook Template - one of my staples.  :)

Here is the sketch I used from MDS Monday:
