Football Scrapbook Layout

Happy Saturday!  I've been having so much fun playing with My Digital Studio!  Here's what I made last night:

This year was the first time my 9 yo played football.  He loved it!  I always take sooo many sports pictures that it's hard to scrap them all.  I think My Digital Studio is the answer to my problem!  Now, I just need to decide if I want to print as individual pages or do separate photo books for the boys' sports... Decisions, decisions.....

I used one of the FREE downloads to do the above layouts.  It was super easy - I just used the template and changed my text and title.  This download is called Neutral Delightful Digital Tape.

Thanks for visiting!  Enjoy your weekend!

Another Scrapbook Layout + Free Digital Downloads!!

Happy Friday!!  Do you know what makes Fridays even better?  When you get something for FREE!

Tomorrow is Digital Scrapbooking Day!  (Who knew there was such a thing?!)  Stampin' Up! wants to help celebrate!  From now until November 7th, you can download free digital content from www.mydigitalstudio.net!  These are brand new downloads that will be available for purchase after this promotion - but make sure and get yours for FREE today!

As demonstrators, we were able to get the downloads a little early.  As soon as I saw the Delight in the Day download, I knew I wanted to use it to scrapbook our "first day of school" photos.  The download shows an 8 1/2 x 11 template, but I took the different elements and made a 12 x 12 page.  It was so quick and easy!  I love how you can make the different stamps and fonts any color!

I based my layout loosely on this week's sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays.  Those of you that have scrapbooked with me before know that I am a HUGE fan of sketches.  It is the best way for me to scrapbook and make cards.  If you haven't tried it, you must! You will not be sorry!!

Here's my layout:

Aren't these colors fun?!  To get this download CLICK HERE.  Click where it says "Celebrate" and you'll be able to get the downloads for FREE (after a quick survey).  l used My Digital Studio to make this layout - so fun and easy!!  Let me know what you think - but keep in mind this is only my 2nd digi layout so go easy on me!  ;)

CLICK HERE to see the images you'll receive with the Delight in the Day Download.  (I'll post the other three free downloads soon!)

Here's this week's sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays that inspired me:

And finally, you have to check out the latest My Digital Studio downloads here.  They are so fun!  I'm finally jumping on the digital scrapbooking bandwagon!  Traditional scrapbooking will always be my first love, but I take sooooo many pictures of family events, sporting events, vacations, etc., etc., that I simply cannot keep up with my scrapbooks.  So, I plan on doing some digital layouts and having them printed through Stampin' Up!.  (You can see my first digital layout using our My Digital Studio software HERE.)  And of course, I love doing calendars and photo books for gifts as well - and I'll definitely be using My Digital Studio software for that.  CLICK HERE to find out more information about our software!

Sweet Scrappin' Sunday....

So, one of my boys is off with some friends and my other boy is with my hubby at baseball practice so I have a Sunday afternoon to myself.  Guess what I did?!  I played!!  I used Stampin' Up!'s digital software, My Digital Studio, to make a quick layout of a picture I took this morning.  Believe it or not, this is the FIRST scrapbook layout I have made using this awesome program!  (I'm saying this not because I think I'm a pro but because I've had this program forever....!)  It was so easy!!  Obviously, nothing fancy.... but I'm happy with it and it didn't take long at all!  Here it is:

Click on the photo for a larger view.

Tomorrow, my oldest son will be 12!  Where has the time gone?!  I snapped this photo this morning and thought it would be fun to make a layout of his last day at 11 years old!  Isn't he handsome?!

Thanks for stopping by!  (And don't let the October promotions slip away....!!)
