Happy Easter!!

Hi there!!  I hope everyone had a blessed Easter!!  Just a quick post to show you a couple of Easter cards I made this year using one of our super cute Single Stamps!!

Nothing fancy here as these cards came together fairly quickly!  I love how easy it is to frame a cute stamp image using my Big Shot and the Labels Collection Framelits.  :)

HSS Color Challenge #155

Happy (rainy) Saturday!  I was cruising around the internet looking at different challenge blogs last night and stumbled upon Hand Stamped Sentiments.  When I saw their color combination I was instantly inspired to create this birthday card for a friend:


I love making these little flowers...


Then, I thought these colors would make a cute Easter card.... so I made another card and changed the sentiment.

Scrapbooking with MDS

Hi there!!

I'm here with another quick digi layout I did using My Digital Studio (MDS).


There's nothing fancy about this layout as I really wanted to focus on the journaling and cute photos.  This was a special experience for my son that I couldn't wait to document for him!  :)  I just LOVE watching my family look through our scrapbook albums.

So, Friday night I was invited to go scrapbook with a group of ladies in my neighborhood.  It's always great to meet fellow scrapbookers.  ;)  After I got there, they showed me a YouTube video they created one night.  You can see their "Harlem Shake" video below:


After seeing this... I knew this was a good group for me.  LOL!

Stampin Celebration Sketch Challenge

Hi there!!  The last week has been crazy but I FINALLY had some creative time!  I won't bore you with the details... but let's just say the flu and a stomach virus hit us last week! Ugh!

My son is playing for his middle school lacrosse team this year.  He's really having a great time!  I love watching my boys do their thing at their games.  :)

SCIC #64 Blog Hop

Yay!  It's time for a new Stampin' Celebration Challenge and Blog Hop!  Here's the inspiration photo we're using for SCIC #64:


These fun, bright colors make me think of Spring - which I am soooo ready for!!  Here's the card I created:


I'm not in love with this card... but I was determined to use those cute little houses for my inspiration.  But, I kind of think it ended up looking like something my kids could have made.  LOL!  I used the Heart Framelits to make the point on the roof and finally played with the super cute Cloud Embossing Folder.


Here's the inside of the card.  I love that little sentiment!  I made this card for my hubby. I've been really grumpy lately... too much stress, not feeling well, taking care of everyone but myself... you know how it is!  And he always supports and puts up with me -- with him is still my favorite place to be.  I thought maybe I should tell him.  :)
