Blue Ribbon Birthday Card

Today's card was inspired by two different challenges.  The layout of this card was inspired by this week's sketch over at RetroSketches.

And the color scheme was inspired by this week's challenge over at ColorQ.

This is the first time I've played along with these challenge sites and I will definitely be back - very inspiring!  I was excited to finally use the Blue Ribbon Stamp Set from the new Catalog.  What a fun stamp set!  So many possibilities with all of the coordinating punches and framelit dies!!

Halloween Printable Shadow Box

I love Halloween.  But, you know what's really scary about this year?  I will have a TEENAGER on Halloween this year!  Yep, my sweet baby will turn 13 on Halloween. Sigh.....  We've always loved Halloween around here!  And I know it's only August, but I wanted to show you a fun little home decor project that literally took me about 15 minutes to create!

(Sorry about the glare!)

This was a fun and easy project to create!  I simply printed the Toxic Framable Digital Designer Template, cut it down to 8x8, added my fun embellishments and put it inside of a shadow box frame.  I used the Bitty Bat Punch that's on the clearance rack and added some Dazzling Details.  I adhered the little bats with Dimensionals.  I added some ribbon and voila!  Too cute!  Are you getting in the Halloween spirit?

Stampin' Up! Paper Storage - Free Printable

I always have people ask me how I store my ever-growing collection of scrapbooking and stamping supplies.  Today, I want to share with you how I store some of my paper. It took some time to find a system that I was really happy with, but I've found that I prefer vertical storage for all of my paper.  Here is how I store my 8.5 x 11 cardstock.  (And keep scrolling down for the FREE paper tab printable.)

I found these plastic file boxes at Wal-Mart.

I love them because there's a lid to keep the dust out!

And, the lid is attached and easily folds down behind the box.

I found these file jackets at Staples that I love.

They're like a big expandable pocket!

I store my full sheets of paper in the back and my scraps in the front.
This really makes it easy when I'm working on projects and when I'm cleaning up!
And, if I need to grab a bunch of paper for a class, then I just pull out the whole file.

Then, I add this cute little paper tab (that I'll share in a minute) to organize my paper by color.

I recently redid my paper tabs in My Digital Studio and thought I'd share them with my blog followers and customers!  Simply print out the 2-page pdf and punch out with the Round Tab Punch.

If you didn't get the Round Tab Punch before it retired (sniff, sniff), then check back in a few days as I'm working on another sheet you can use with one of our current punches.  ;)

You can download the color tabs for the Round Tab Punch HERE.  (SEE UPDATED LINKS BELOW)  And if you use it and love it, then please leave me a comment and/or like my Facebook Page!  :)

**Please note:  The original link is stored on Scribd.  It's been brought to my attention that Scribd is now asking people to pay to join their site in order to download my free file.  I have no idea, why or how this is even possible - as my intent was to offer this free to my blog readers and fellow Stampin' Up! enthusiasts!  (When I log into my Scribd account it still shows it as a free download?!  And I have never paid to join the site.)
**I have added links now through Google Docs, but had to add as two separate files due to file size restrictions.  It appears to have lost some resolution through Google Docs, but hopefully you all can still use them!
