Creative Crew Challenge

Shew, I've been so busy with the boys out of school I've neglected my blog!  I'm still creating when I get a few minutes, but I'm spending as much time as possible with my family.  Here's what we've been up to:

My youngest graduated 5th grade the end of May!  I can't believe we'll have two middle schoolers next year!  How did that happen?!

Carter spends most of his time at the ballpark.  He loves playing baseball, my hubby coaches, and I'm his biggest fan!  :)

Evan made a summer lacrosse team.  It's been really fun watching him play.  This is such a fun sport!  :)

We usually conquer and divide on the weekends.  Too many sports... too little time!  I honestly don't know how people with more than two kids juggle it all!  But, I wouldn't change these days for the world!  I love that my boys are so busy and love to play sports!  And of course, all of these photos make for great scrapbooking!  ;)

Ok, I do have something crafty to share with you today!  I'm really have fun being a party of the Creative Crew!  We have four challenges a month and the talent on the team is fabulous!  I love seeing everyone's creations!  Here is a card I made for one of this month's challenges:

Products Used:
Stamps:  Paper Pumpkin, That's the Ticket
Ink:  Melon Mambo, Basic Black
Paper:  Soft Suede, Melon Mambo, So Saffron, Polka Dot Parade, Wild Wasabi
Other:  Paper Doilies, Ticket Duo Punch, Chevron Embossing Folder, Rhinestone Jewels, Adorning Accents Edgelits, Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz

And here was the Creative Crew challenge for this card:

DSP/Color Focus: To celebrate Candy Month (June) let's concentrate on the new InColors: baked brown sugar, strawberry slush, crisp cantaloupe, pistachio pudding and coastal cabana. These colors all look good enough to eat!
Use one or most colors in a happy, sparkly way.
(If the new InColors are not part of your stash yet, use soft suede, melon mambo, wild wasabi, marina mist and daffodil delight.)
Any neutral is welcome in the candy store.

Sadly, I didn't have any of the new in-colors yet when I created this card.  (I do now and am in love with them all!)  The color combo suggested if you didn't have the new colors, I would never think to put together.  But, I'm happy with this little collage of a card.  ;) Make sure and check out the Creative Crew Forum over at Splitcoast Stampers for some fun monthly challenges.

I've really enjoyed getting my Paper Pumpkin Kits in the mail!  I love the stamps used above and am so glad I'm receiving my monthly kits.  You can sign up for Paper Pumkin here!  You'll love it!

Thanks for visiting!!  (Even though my posts have been sporadic lately!)  ;)
