Baseball Layout - MDS Blog Hop

What have you been working on lately?  Well the MDS Blog Hop ladies would like to show you what we've been up to!  I created this layout while I was waiting on my son to finish baseball practice last night.

I was going through some of my photos and chuckled over my youngest son's face in the majority of them!  It seems like his tongue is always out while he's playing baseball. It was time to scrap about it!  I love that I can recolor paper in MDS.  Here, I recolored the Finest Simplicity paper in one of my layers to blue.  I love how it pops against the gray.  I also recolored the top layer of Downtown Grunge to gray.  The "In the Zone" stamp from the Game Day download was perfect for my title! :)

MDS Downloads:
Game Day, Finest Simplicity, Love This (arrow), Silver Hodgepodge Hardware

MDS Hop - Spring Break

Happy Spring!  The MDS Blog Hop is back and this month our challenge is Easter or Spring.  We had our Spring Break here last week and I have tons of photos to scrap from our family vacation.  We went on a cruise to the Western Caribbean.  It was so much fun!!  I was anxious to scrap these action shots from the Flow Rider.  It was a super cool surf simulator on the cruise ship.  They could ride the waves on boards and they had a great time with it!  My layout shows a few photos of my youngest son showing off his moves!

Downloads Used:
High Tide, Family Fun, Happy Things, Hello Perfection, Story of Us, Beautiful Today, Nobody's Business

I started my layout with the High Tide DSP - lots of fun papers that are perfect for our cruise photos - yay!!  I think I'll create a duplicate page to add photos of my other son!! Easy peasy!! :)

I'm excited to see what the other Design Team members have created!!  Next up on our Blog Hop is Beth Rush!  Click our (fancy new) blog hop button below to visit Beth's blog! :)

Thanks for following along with us!!  Happy creating!

Easter Printable for SC #77

Hi there!  It's the first of the month and time for a new inspiration challenge over at Stampin' Celebration!!  I was in a bit of a time crunch when it came time to make this project.  There is a lot going on lately at my house - my 95 year old grandma visited from Vancouver, WA, we are getting a lot of home projects done in hopes of selling our house soon and as you are reading this I am cruising the Western Caribbean with my family for Spring Break. :)  Despite all of the craziness (on top of homework, baseball games, guitar lessons, etc.) I was able to whip something out pretty quickly in MDS.  I just love our inspiration photos this month:

There are so many lovely things to use as inspiration - the flowers, the woodgrain, the eggs and lace, the cute bunny….  Here's what I created:

I chose the colors and the flowers as my main inspiration to create this Easter printable in MDS.  The more I look at this the more I think I need to make this into a card as well. :)

Downloads Used:
Mocha Morning DSP, Staples & Stitching, Easter Blessings

The Easter Blessings download is a new one available.  There are so many pretty sentiments in this download and I absolutely love that cross made out of flowers.  :) This will look so pretty framed at Easter. :)

What are you inspired to create?  We hope you join us over at Stampin' Celebration! Simply create a project using the above photos as your inspiration and link up to our blog by the end of the month!  Make sure and check back on the 15th for a sketch challenge as well!

Head on over to the Stampin' Celebration Blog and see what the other designers created!!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!!
