PLxSU Trio Challenge #2

Hi there!  I'm excited for week #2 of our PLxSU Trio Challenge.  This week the trio challenges you to use a list on your Project Life page.  Any kind of list will do… get creative!  I'm getting spring fever, so I did a page from a trip we took {four years ago} to Hilton Head Island!

One of the cards I used had "Happiness is:" on it.  So I used that for my list!

I'm having fun combining stamping with my Project Life layouts. :)

Products Used:
This Day Project Life Mini Card Collection (Available FREE through March 31st with a $25 purchase.)  (SAB item #138636)
Mini Stapler
Rich Razzleberry Marker
1" Square Punch
Cardstock - Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana

I love this fun mini card collection that I got FREE!  (free is good).  I also love the Remember This stamp set.  I used this twice on my layout. :)

Hop on over to our Facebook page and upload your creation for this challenge!  And don't forget to check out Holly and Amber's blogs to see what  they did for this week!

Thanks for visiting!!

A New PLxSU Challenge!

Happy Monday!  I'm here with a Project Life layout for a fun new challenge - The PLxSU Trio Challenge.  I'm excited to join two of my Stampin' Up! friends, Holly Van Dyne and Amber Meadows for a new weekly Project Life Challenge.  I'm really looking forward to getting lots of pages done this year and hope some of you play along!

Are you ready for the first challenge?!  This week the Trio is challenging you to use one photo in multiple pockets on a Project Life page.  Here's how I tackled this challenge:

This year, I've decided to document 2015 with a weekly PL album.  This is the first time I've tried weekly pages -- and so far I'm loving it!  I'm not sure our lives are super exciting but it's fun to document the little everyday things that don't always make it into our family albums.  Today I'm sharing with you my Week 6 layouts.  (Sorry about the photos - yucky, rainy day here).

Products Used:
Everyday Adventure Accessory Pack (that tiny little "love" heart sticker)

As you can see, I didn't do anything fancy with the challenge - I simply split a 4x6 photo over two 3x4 pockets.  I've been using the Collect App to keep up with my photos and I love it!  I'll add the journaling while I'm sitting in carline, etc.  The look is simple but helps me keep up with the little things I want to remember. :)

I've been using my Silhouette Cameo to cut my title/numbers each week.  The thing I love about using the Stampin' Up! PL kits, is that I can use the coordinating colors on my pages.

Stamping + Project Life = Awesomeness

Ok… I've rambled on long enough!  I'm anxious to see what Holly and Amber have done with the challenge.  And now it's your turn to play along!  Simply share your layout for this challenge to the PLxSU Trio Challenge Facebook Group.  It can be a traditional page, digital or hybrid - whatever you want to do!  To kick off our new Challenge Group, there is a prize for this week's challenge!  Woot!  You have until Sunday at noon to enter -- can't wait to see all of the inspiration on the Facebook Page!

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful week! :)
