Mid-Monthspiration Fall Banner

Happy Saturday!!  I'm here with a little "Mid-Monthspiration" for this month's challenge over at Stampin' Celebration.  The temperatures are starting to get a little cooler here in Georgia and it makes me so ready for fall.  I was inspired to create this "Happy Fall" banner:


This banner looks so cute on my mantle!  Here are some close ups:



I had fun creating this banner.  Most pieces were cut with the Big Shot - I love being able to cut multiple sheets at a time.  I stamped the letters in Soft Suede with the Creative Elements Stamp Set.  That has become one of my favorite sets to use for background stamping.  I made the little flowers with the Boho Blossoms Punch and the big flower with the the Blossom Punch.  These flowers are so easy to create!!  Want to see how to make them?  Click Here.

Got Game Scrapbook Layout

Yay!  I finally had time to make a scrapbook page this week!  This layout was inspired by Stampin' Up!'s weekly challenge over at MyDigitalStudio.net.


I have soooooo many baseball pictures to scrapbook that it's always nice to get another page completed!  For this week's challenge, we were to use a Scrap Map for our inspiration.  Here it is:

Petite Purse Party Favor

Hi!  I've been having fun with my Big Shot this week!  Look at this cute little party favor I made using the Petite Purse Bigz XL Die.


This die is so adorable!  I love how it opens up and then closes with the little tab.  It would be so cute for little gifts or party favors - bridal showers, baby showers, birthday gifts etc.  The inside fits four chocolate nugget candies perfectly - or you could fill it with small jewelry or wine charms!


I love the little extras you can add to this purse!  Look at those little tags - love that stamp set and punch!  Those coordinating products are one of the reasons I fell in love with Stampin' Up!  Look how cute the Tiny Tags Stamp Set is:

Chevrons!

I've had a lot of work to do this week with my "boring job" and not enough time with my "fun job"!  I couldn't go to bed last night until I created something!  (It just makes me happy and keeps me sane!)  Here's the result:


This layout was inspired by sketch #224 over at Creative Scrappers.  I love sketches.... they really get my creative juices flowing!!  Most of the paper is from the 12 Days of Christmas Swatchbook Template.  Once I saw all of the fun DSP and elements of that template, I had to get it - even if I never use it for a Swatchbook!  I also finally played with the Chevron Punch Kit. I love the grunge chevrons.... so cool for all of my boy layouts!  Here is a closeup of the kit:

Ski School Layout

So, yesterday I mentioned the challenge that Stampin' Up! is having over at My Digital Studio.net.  I'm always up for a challenge.... and was anxious to play along!  The challenge is to use one of the new downloads that was released in August.  (Well, I just happen to have a few....)  I love the colors in the Joyful Times Download so I chose that for my layout.  Here it is:


Eeek - I love it!  (Probably because I love this photo and the memories from our first family ski vacation!)  Would you believe that I got about 90% of this layout done while I was sitting in my car yesterday during Evan's guitar lesson?!  I seriously get so excited when I think about how much progress I have made on our scrapbook albums since I've started using My Digital Studio.  Love, love, love MDS!  Oh, and the Joyful Times Download used in this layout (which I haven't even used half of yet) is included in the MDS2+ software!  To me, it is so worth it to get that version with all of the extra digital content!

Well, I'm off to meet my mom for shopping and lunch!  Have a scraptacular day!
