Headed to Cooperstown!

Hi there!  We are back with another MDS Blog Hop!  Today we are sharing with you what we've been working on!  This is a crazy time of year… end of the year school parties, graduations, field day, room mom duties, vacation planning, etc.  I haven't had a lot of time for creating this week!  I did however, make some little gift tags yesterday that I can show you.  My son's baseball team is going to play baseball in Cooperstown in a couple of weeks!  This Southern girl is excited to go to NY!  Anyhoo, the team stays in the barracks by the ballpark for the week.  We wanted to give them a little goody bag when we arrive.  I created tags in MDS so they can keep up with who's is who!

Nothing fancy, but pretty cute and simple to make!

Here's what it looked like in MDS:

Game Day Baseball
Font:  Headline

I used our team colors and coordinating (retired) ribbon.  I alternated the colors just to make them a little different.  I cut them out into circles and the moms put them on the bags tonight at practice. :)  They are ready to go!!

I'm anxious to see what MDS goodness the other designers have been working on! Next up along our hop is Beth Rush!  Click the button below to hop on over to her blog!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!!

Creative Crew - Party Favor

I'm back with my second project for this month's Creative Crew challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers!  One of our challenges is always going to be a "Catalog Focus". This month, we're focusing on die cuts and still incorporating into one of the parties shown HERE.  I chose the Sweet Butterfly Party and used my Big Shot to make this party favor:

Again, I used the colors from the party photos.  I also used the butterflies, lace doilies and roses as my inspiration.  Wouldn't this be a fun party favor for a sweet birthday party?

Products Used:
Stamps:  Layered Labels, Creative Elements
Ink:  Versamark, Pink Pirouette
Paper:  Pink Pirouette, Pool Party
Other:  White Embossing Powder, Paper Doilies, Honeycomb Embossing Folder, Artisan Embellishment Kit, Basic Pearl Jewels, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Labels Framelits, Fancy Favor Die, Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Festive Paper Piecing Pack, Perfect Polka Dots, Big Shot

Did you know that the Fancy Favor Die is retiring?  I am soooo sad!  This is one of my most used dies....  If I were you, I'd get it now before it's gone for good!  :(

Don't forget that you have until the 10th of this month to sign up for May's Paper Pumpkin Kit!  These kits are such a fun surprise to get each month!  Paper, stamps, ink, and accessories... straight to your door each month!  It's a fun creative escape!  CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP TODAY!

Happy creating!!

Petite Purse Party Favor

Hi!  I've been having fun with my Big Shot this week!  Look at this cute little party favor I made using the Petite Purse Bigz XL Die.

This die is so adorable!  I love how it opens up and then closes with the little tab.  It would be so cute for little gifts or party favors - bridal showers, baby showers, birthday gifts etc.  The inside fits four chocolate nugget candies perfectly - or you could fill it with small jewelry or wine charms!

I love the little extras you can add to this purse!  Look at those little tags - love that stamp set and punch!  Those coordinating products are one of the reasons I fell in love with Stampin' Up!  Look how cute the Tiny Tags Stamp Set is:

It's full of fun sentiments for every occasion!  You can purchase/browse the products used in this project through the links below:

I'd love to show you how to create fun projects like these!  If you are local, make sure and check out my events calendar as new classes have been added!  I'm also excited to tell you about the launch of my Etsy shop - Tea Leaves & Twine.  This is for those of you that tell me all the time - "Can't you just make it for me?!".  I'm excited to offer some of my handcrafted items for sale!  I'd love for you to check out my shop and let me know what you think!

Thanks for stopping by!  My blog has surpassed 15,000 visitors!  Yay!  :)

Halloween Cello Bag Treats

Happy Monday!!  Last week, a few of us got together to make some Halloween treats for classmates and teachers.  Here are some of the goodies we made:

I've shown you the Halloween Matchbox already in this post, but aren't those little cello bag treats fun?

I think they would also be really cute with those glow bracelets inside.... wondering if they'd fit?  I'll have to try it!  My son's birthday is on Halloween so we get a little crazy over here with the Halloween festivities!  :)

Did you know that Stampin' Up! now sells 1" x 8" cello bags?!  They are in the Holiday Mini Catalog -- $2.50 for 50!  You can get them HERE in my online store!  They make perfect little party favors or classmate gifts for any occasion.
