Blue Ribbon Birthday Card

Today's card was inspired by two different challenges.  The layout of this card was inspired by this week's sketch over at RetroSketches.

And the color scheme was inspired by this week's challenge over at ColorQ.

This is the first time I've played along with these challenge sites and I will definitely be back - very inspiring!  I was excited to finally use the Blue Ribbon Stamp Set from the new Catalog.  What a fun stamp set!  So many possibilities with all of the coordinating punches and framelit dies!!

Halloween Printable Shadow Box

I love Halloween.  But, you know what's really scary about this year?  I will have a TEENAGER on Halloween this year!  Yep, my sweet baby will turn 13 on Halloween. Sigh.....  We've always loved Halloween around here!  And I know it's only August, but I wanted to show you a fun little home decor project that literally took me about 15 minutes to create!

(Sorry about the glare!)

This was a fun and easy project to create!  I simply printed the Toxic Framable Digital Designer Template, cut it down to 8x8, added my fun embellishments and put it inside of a shadow box frame.  I used the Bitty Bat Punch that's on the clearance rack and added some Dazzling Details.  I adhered the little bats with Dimensionals.  I added some ribbon and voila!  Too cute!  Are you getting in the Halloween spirit?

Back to School Scrapbook Layout

With all of the kids going back to school down here in Georgia, I thought it was about time I scrapbook my son's 5th grade graduation from um, 2011.....  lol!  So... it's not a "Back to School" layout but I did use the Back to School Kit.  (love. love. love.)  Here's my layout:

There are so many awesome embellishments and stamps in this kit!  It is one for your wish list for sure!!  I really like this layout.  And... since it's digi, I plan on having 2 pages printed - one for Evan's school album and one for our family album.  Yay!  :)
