Remember When Scrapbook Page

I received my new Creating Keepsakes magazine in the mail yesterday.  It always inspires me to scrapbook!  I found a layout by Maggie Holmes that I knew I wanted to scraplift!  I dog-eared the page and couldn't wait to have some time to re-create it!  Here it is:


I love these photos of my husband and my oldest son.  It's little moments like this that I want my kids to remember.  This is why I scrapbook!  :)

I created this page in about 30 minutes using My Digital Studio.  I know I say this all of the time - but I LOVE the way digi scrapping has transformed my scrapbooking.  I am getting so much done -- so many priceless memories documented!!  I LOVE it!  :)

Evergreen Christmas Card & Blog Hop

I always start to panic a little when December arrives here so quickly.  Thank goodness for stamping and my creative outlet!!  lol!  It's a new month and a new challenge over at the Stampin' Celebration Blog!  We hope you can join us!  Here is this month's inspiration photo:


I love the neutral colors, the tree and the ruffles on the little trees.  They inspired me to create this card:


I've had the Evergreen stamp set for awhile but hadn't played with it yet.  I love it - so pretty and a wonderful sentiment with this stamp set.  (Which I put on the inside and didn't take a picture - sorry!)

Epcot Fountains Page 2!

I had so much fun creating my scrapbook layout last night that I couldn't wait to create the second page!


I had so many photos from this day that I wanted to scrap.  I re-colored the photostrips from the Downtown Grunge Photobook Template to white to match my layout - love that new feature.  I also love being able to "insert duplicate page mirrored" in MDS2 - it makes it so easy to create a double-page layout!

MDS Monday Challenge

I found a brand new challenge blog called MDS Monday, that I'm pretty excited about!  It combines My Digital Studio and sketches!  Sketches and MDS are my favorite way to scrapbook!  Yahoo!  I couldn't wait to create a layout with their very first sketch!  Here it is:


I have tons of photos from our Disney trip a couple of years ago sitting in my computer. Sometimes I find that I hold onto the really good photos and wait to scrapbook them and I'm not sure why?!  But, I'm on a mission to put a dent in these photos!!  And I just love how this layout turned out!  I can't wait to do the accompanying page!  Here is the sketch that this layout was based on:
