November's SCIC Blog Hop!

Hi there!  It's time for a new challenge over at Stampin' Celebration!!  I've had a crazy week because of this:

Ugh... not fun - especially when you're 11 yo is in the car with you!  Thank God we were ok.  My car... not so much!  I'm off to the Dr. to get checked out just to be safe as I'm still really, really sore....  Anyway... I didn't get to play with my new Truly Grateful stamp set like I had hoped.  So.... MDS to the rescue!!

I created a Thanksgiving card in MDS!  And, with the print sale going on, I can get several made!!  Yahoo!

Downloads Used:
Truly Grateful, Back to School (brown chevron), Burlap Ribbon, Antique Brad, First Edition DSP, World Traveler

I was inspired by our Photo Inspiration Challenge at Stampin' Celebration:

SCIC #71 - Grateful There's You!

Hi there!!  There's a new challenge over at the Stampin' Celebration Blog!  I created this card using the photos as my inspiration:

And here is the Inspiration Challenge:

Isn't this a great collection of photos?!  I chose the colors and the flowers as my inspiration!

Products Used:
Stamps:  Chalk Talk
Ink:  Early Espresso (stamped off) and sponged around edges
Paper:  Sweater Weather (#132184), Crumb Cake
Other:  Crumb Cake Seam Binding, Cotton Ribbon (torn), Chalk Talk Framelits, Boho Blossoms Punch, Adorning Acceents Edgelits, Mini Brads, Dimensionals, Glue Dots

I made the flowers by using the Boho Blossoms Punch, spritzing them with water, layering together with a brad, and scrunching them to look like flowers.  I love to do this!

Mid-Monthspiration Digi Scrapbook Layout

Hi!
It's time for a little Mid-Monthspiration over at Stampin' Celebration!!  I wanted to make a second project with this month's challenge.  I was inspired by the photos to make a scrapbook page and {finally} scrapbook our photos from Thanksgiving last year!

I created this double page layout using the Wonderfall Digital Kit.  This download has so many CUTE elements to it!

Here is the SCIC photo that was my inspiration for this layout:

I used the pumpkins, leaves and wood-grain from the barn for my inspiration in this layout.  I created the little pumpkins using the oval punch and filled it with DSP from the Howlstooth and Scaringbone download.

You have until the 25th of this month to join us over at Stampin' Celebration!!  Upload your project using the linky tool on the blog and you might be selected as this month's "Pick of the Party"!

Mid-Monthspiration Fall Banner

Happy Saturday!!  I'm here with a little "Mid-Monthspiration" for this month's challenge over at Stampin' Celebration.  The temperatures are starting to get a little cooler here in Georgia and it makes me so ready for fall.  I was inspired to create this "Happy Fall" banner:

This banner looks so cute on my mantle!  Here are some close ups:

I had fun creating this banner.  Most pieces were cut with the Big Shot - I love being able to cut multiple sheets at a time.  I stamped the letters in Soft Suede with the Creative Elements Stamp Set.  That has become one of my favorite sets to use for background stamping.  I made the little flowers with the Boho Blossoms Punch and the big flower with the the Blossom Punch.  These flowers are so easy to create!!  Want to see how to make them?  Click Here.

We'd love for you to join us at Stampin' Celebration.  You have until the 25th of the month to link up your project.  Visit the Stampin' Celebration blog here to see this month's inspiration photo and links to the Design Team's projects.

Cute Hand Sanitizer Gift

I love to make little gifts for my hostesses.  :)  Last week, I decided to make this fun hand sanitizer holder to bring to my hostess's workshop.  (I really need a cuter name... but, it's not really a box, or a pouch, or a bag.... lol)  Anyway, here it is:

I originally got this idea from Erica Cerwin over at Pink Buckaroo Designs, but revamped mine a little bit to open and close on the top.  It's a fun little gift for hostesses, neighbors, teachers, the mailman, etc.!  The mini pocket hand sanitizers from one of my favorite stores fits inside perfectly - and who doesn't need hand sanitizer?!  We'll be making a Christmas version of this at the Holiday Giftacular!  I'll try and post a tutorial next week!

Don't forget about the BIG Online Extravaganza going on through November 30th! Lots of great items on sale up to 60% off - I placed my order yesterday!  :)  Click here for the pdf version of the sale items or visit my online store to shop 24/7!
